🌱 Image campaign on climate awareness
The Vrije Universiteit Brussel is known for being unconventional and avoiding well-trodden paths, but how do you make that image tangible for prospective students? Around the time of the climate conference in Paris, the university launched the “We Are Paris” campaign. The core message: we don’t need Paris, climate action starts here and now. Comith built a content framework with students in the leading role. Through blogs, videos, interviews, and social content, they shared actions, ideas, and insights regarding sustainability. We coached them in social media, storytelling, and copywriting, ensuring their engagement also made a digital impact. The central hub was a blog site that consolidated and amplified the story.
Additionally, we strengthened the VUB brand with a fresh e-book that explained university jargon in a clear and playful way, and with an open day promotion where participants could win a stay in Brussels. What began as climate action grew into a two-year journey with impact. The campaign gave the university an additional face and contributed to an increasing number of enrollments, it proves daring to be unconventional really works.
