Many factories order their sensors from various suppliers, while SICK offers a complete range of sensors. The sales team initially struggled to convey that advantage to purchasing managers. Therefore, Comith launched a targeted direct mail campaign, spread over three waves.
Each mailing included a sensor as a gift, a booklet outlining the benefits of SICK’s solutions for industrial companies, and a personal call to action from the sales manager inviting recipients to a phone conversation. The results were promising: 4 out of 10 recipients agreed to schedule a meeting.
