Many factories source their sensors from multiple suppliers, while SICK offers a complete sensor portfolio under one roof. Communicating that advantage clearly to procurement managers proved to be a challenge for the sales team.

Comith developed a targeted direct mail campaign, rolled out in three waves. Each mailing included a sensor as a tangible gift, a booklet highlighting the benefits of SICK’s solutions for industrial businesses, and a personal call-to-action from the sales manager inviting recipients to a phone conversation.

The results spoke for themselves: 4 out of 10 recipients agreed to a follow-up call.
